Joseph “Jay” Bauer started Jay’s Auto Wrecking, Inc. at this same location in 1960 in Edinboro, PA . His eldest son, Charlie, became president in 1989. The youngest son, Thomas ” Duke” Bauer, is also an officer in the business, and works as an inventory specialist, among other important duties. Today, Jay’s employs 12 full & part-time workers, and will ship items world-wide.
Jay’s has multiple parts locating service outlets to find you those hard to find auto parts in the event Jay’s doesn’t have your part already in stock. We are connected to over 3,000 recyclers throughout the US & Canada to locate parts for you.
Jay’s also sells “Rebuildable Wrecks” and Jay’s has over 1000 parts vehicles in a computerized inventory on 14 acres.
Jay’s carries a large inventory of New Aftermarket parts to supplement their used inventory, which perform and appear similar to OEM new parts at a large cost savings. Jay’s aftermarket items usually have a MINIMUM 1 YEAR parts warranty.
